How To Level Up Fast In Hay Day | VideoMortals

Create the perfect farming experience with friends and neighbors from around the world. With millions of players and tons of fun content, it's the biggest, bestest farmin' game around! (From the official Hay Day website)

Hayday is a farming simulator, developed for android and IOS. It's an online farming game, much like the Farm Ville we all used to play, but less complicated when it comes to, well, everything. The game offers a unique economy which can be used for benefits both in short and long term, but still balanced so that no one gets to be the next Rockefeller out of selling carrots to neighbors. The competition is fair, the game looks cute, it's not at all pay to win, so yeah you could say this is a decent mobile game. Still though, this is not a review, so let's get right into our topic, how do you level up fast and mock your friends for being bad at this? Answer is in our article, buckle up!

1. Load Up The Trunk

Truck orders are kind of your only clear way to level up in your early days as a farm manager, but it's actually pretty great even in higher levels. These orders are a great simple source to gain xp and it's really simple to use them to your advantage. So, let's talk some strategy.

Truck orders are unique, since you're able to refresh the orders you don't like. So how to use truck to boost yourself? Simple, don't do it. I know I know, let us explain. To get the best of the truck, simply set yourself a minimum xp limit. Our suggestion would be at least 200 xp starting off, and then 300 later on, after level 20. Setting this limit and refreshing the tasks that are under your limit will help you get better tasks and stop you from wasting your products. Giving your products to orders with higher rewards will save you precious resources and award you for them later. This, in the long run will amuse you with it's potential, trust us.

2. Fill Up Those Crates

Hay Day's well known boat, your most steady source of xp, is of course in this list. Filling up your crates give you a fair amount of xp, and like that isn't enough, you also get xp if you fully load it and send it off (The boat will also give you 1 random ticket) Yes, you won't earn much gold from this either, but xp, yes!

One small suggestion from us would be sending them off without loading anything, if you can't load it even if you waited for hours to come. This will give you nothing in return, and you will need to wait for a few hours till the next boat arrives, but still, better than waiting more than 12 hours on something that just won't happen. Remember, you can find the things you need in newspaper, or at your friends' shops, so consider first, if those items are possible to find, if the answer is no, we would just tell the boat's captain to cast off and never, ever come back! Well, maybe not ever...

3. Pet The Pets, Cos Pets Are Cool

Your farm pets are quite hard to get we know, but they're well worth it trust us. Your pets will get hungry quite a lot, but feeding them is not that hard. Your cats will drink 1 single milk, your dogs will eat a single bacon and so on.. The key point here is, when they're well fed and happy, they'll just start snoring in their little corner, sleeping. And when you interrupt their best sleep ever, they'll not only be happy about it, but they also will award you with xp, and a chance to get a loot (Expansion materials included)

4. Plant, Harvest, Repeat

Hay Day is a farming game, and normally it's no surprise that farming is a core mechanic when it comes to getting xp. Farming with any crop will give you xp, but the xp will depend on the crop you're farming. Longer harvest times, more xp; shorter harvest time, less xp. Still, if you're a highly active player, planting simple things like wheat will be more sensible for you, since you can harvest wheat every 2 minutes, plus you will also get much more loot thanks to short harvest time of it. So pick a crop that's well suited for your preferences.

Our humble suggestion for farming in Hay Day would be planting the right seeds at the right time. Depending on your daily activity in the game, pick a well suited "day crop" for yourself. This crop, day crop, will be the main thing you harvest throughout the game, and will be the main thing you sell normally. If your daily playtime for Hayday is more than 3-4 hours, we would suggest farming wheat all day whenever you find time for it. Wheating gives you a fair amount of xp, but a TON of loot, which you can later use to upgrade your buildings and get more storage, or simply sell for a decent amount of gold. Other than your day crop, you'll need a "night night crop" Yes, it's called night night crop, not night crop, because I'm the author of this article and I want it to be called night night crop, so deal with it. Okay okay, joke aside, your night crop is your source of not so steady but worthy income. This should be the crop that takes the most time, since those will be the best xp source, and best gold givers. Still, you can plant something that is important to you instead, like carrots, for some reason.

5. Event Times Are Such Bright Times

Events, which you can see on the bulletin board right next to your roadside shop. These events will be things like "double the xp for truck orders" or "double the xp for boat crates" so you get the point. Following the upcoming events from the Hay Day news and getting prepared for them before they even start will have some amazing outcomes. The author of this article is, at the time of writing this, a 33 lvl player, and is still getting a level up in every double xp event. So, yes, do that.

6. Have Fun, And Don't Feel Pressured

The author of this article you read is not that great at this game. He simply is a lvl 33 player, trying to get to better places, like all of the readers. But we know one thing. There's no right way to play this game, you just play as you enjoy, and get better at it at the same time. So don't think too hard about things, try to enjoy it, while you can.
